It was revealed today that the Wheat Export Authority was aware in mid 2004  that AWB had an arrangement with a Jordanian trucking company and examined  allegations of Ê¹kickbacksʹ in its 2004 performance monitoring review.  When Senator Rachel Siewert questioned WEAʹs knowledge of the Jordanian payments  during Senate Estimates on 1 November 2005, WEA Chairman Tim Besley emphatically  denied having any knowledge.   It has now been revealed that his answers to Senate Estimates were Ê¹factually incompleteʹ.  The WEA in fact knew about it as early as mid 2004.  ʺWe now learn that WEA looked into allegations of Ê¹kickbacksʹ in 2004 - including why  payments to a Jordanian trucking company were necessary, and why the prices were so
