Abstract | During the 1988 state election campaign in NSW, the Liberal/National Party coalition made much of the `law and order' issue and political commentators have suggested that this is at least one reason for the Coalition's success. There are indications that at the next Federal Election the Liberal/National Party coalition at the federal level will also campaign heavily on the `law and order' issue. |
