Database Articles
Date 01-11-1997
Abstract In this analysis of cross-national approaches to industry policy, the author argues that the role played by government in many developed economies is significant. If Australia learns from international experience and is prepared to depart from economic rationalism, it can develop an activist approach to industry policy, with the potential for high wages and high growth.
