Summary
Part of a package of five bills to implement the Northern Territory National Emergency Response, the bill amends the Classification (Publications, Films and Computer Games) Act 1995, Australian Crime Commission Act 2002, Australian Federal Police Act 1979, Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Act 1976 and proposed Northern Territory National Emergency Response Act 2007 in relation to: prohibition of pornographic material; law enforcement; retention of government ownership of facilities constructed on Aboriginal land; access to Aboriginal land; and certain township lease grants.
