A Bill for an Act to provide for the expenditure of money appropriated for the Solar Hot Water Rebate scheme, and for related purposes
The Parliament of Australia enacts:
This Act may be cited as the Solar Hot Water Rebate Act 2012.
This Act commences on the day this Act receives the Royal Assent.
3 Amount appropriated for Solar Hot Water Rebate scheme to be spent
(1) This section applies to the amount specified in the Appropriation Act (No. 1) 2011â2012 for Outcome 1 for the Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency.
(2) The amount, to the extent that it was appropriated for the purposes of the Renewable Energy Bonus SchemeâSolar Hot Water Rebate, must be applied for expenditure for that purpose.
