The Honourable Nigel Bowen Q.C., M.P., the Federal Minister for Education and Science, today announced the names of persons who will serve on the Australian Research Grants Committee in 197O 6 They are :

The Minister stated that he was pleased that Professors Glaessner, Street and Whitmore had agreed to fill the vacancies arising from the retirement of Professor H,C. Webster and Doctors D.L, Ford and S.D. Hamann.

He said that the Government appreciated the valuable work done by Professor •Webster and Doctors Ford and Hamann and was gratified that they had agreed to become Consulting Members of the Committee.
