HEATHERBRAE WORK FOR THE DOLE GRADUATION

Participants in the Heatherbrae Work for the Dole project will graduate on Tuesday 25th February.

When: 11:30am, Tuesday 25th February

Where: Unit 5, Giggins Road, Heatherbrae

“This has been an excellent Work for the Dole project, with participants restoring bikes for disadvantaged kids and their families,” the Federal Member for Paterson, Bob Baldwin said.

“The group also restored bikes for Ronald McDonald House and I congratulate them on their achievement.

“I also congratulate the Raymond Terrace Christian Outreach Centre, who coordinated the project and assisted young people in their work.”

The Government’s Work for the Dole program for unemployed people commenced in late 1997. Work for the Dole’s objectives are to provide valuable work experience, develop good work habits and provide communities with activities, which are of value to those communities.
