CHRIS PEARCE MP Federal Member for Aston

Media Release

Aston MP Chris Pearce today announced that more local families at St Luke’s Primary School in Wantirna will receive help to balance their work and family commitments after the Australian Government increased the number of Outside School Hours Care places available.

Mr Pearce said that St Luke’s Primary School would receive ten additional Before School Care places, bringing their total allocation up to thirty places.

“The Australian Government continues to make the significant investments needed to provide families in Aston with child care options, so they can better balance work and family commitments”, Mr Pearce said.

Mr Pearce said that investment was demonstrated in these new places, which form part of a $79 million child care package that includes an extra 10,000 Outside School Hours Care places.
