A Bill for an Act to amend legislation relating to critical infrastructure, and for other purposes
The Parliament of Australia enacts:
This Act is the Security Legislation Amendment (Critical Infrastructure) Act 2021 .
(1) Each provision of this Act specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

The later of: (a) immediately after the commencement of the provisions covered by table item 2; and (b) the commencement of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia Act 2021 . However, the provisions do not commence at all if the event mentioned in paragraph (b) does not occur. |

4. Schedule 1, Part 4 |
The later of: (a) immediately after the commencement of the provisions covered by table item 2; and (b) the commencement of the National Emergency Declaration Act 2020 . However, the provisions do not commence at all if the event mentioned in paragraph (b) does not occur. |

The day after this Act receives the Royal Assent. |

Note: This table relates only to the provisions of this Act as originally enacted. It will not be amended to deal with any later amendments of this Act.
