Senator Townley asked the Minister representing the Prime Minister, upon notice:

(   1 ) How many overseas trips has the Prime Minister made since assuming office.

(2)   What was the date of departure from, and return to, Australia on each occasion.

Senator Murphy - The Prime Minister has provided the following information for answer to the honourable senator's question:

Later, from 27 September to 13 October, I visited Rarotonga for the South Pacific Conference, Honolulu for discussions with the CommanderinChief Pacific, New York for the United Nations General Assembly, Washington for discussions with President Ford, Ottawa for discussions with Prime Minister


Trudeau, Suva for Fiji's Centenary of Cession and Norfolk Island for its Bi-Centenary Celebrations.
