Senator GREENWOOD (Victoria) -The attitude of the Opposition to this Bill is to not oppose the motion for its second reading. There are, however, 2 amendments which will be moved to it in the Committee stage. My understanding is that the things which the Opposition desires to say about this Bill can be said by it in support of those amendments and that that is the appropriate time for any debate which generates to take place. I simply indicate that the Opposition will not oppose the second reading of this Bill.

Question resolved in the affirmative.
