Senator WEBSTER (Victoria) I ask the Attorney- General whether it is a fact that Australian public servants have been told that they cannot visit

Southern Rhodesia, even in a private capacity. Does he consider that the Government's proposal to adopt a Bill on human rights will preclude the Government from interfering in what is obviously a private right of Australian citizens?

Senator MURPHY I do not know of any such instruction. I think that it would be bettter if we obtained the facts of the matter so that the honourable senator could have his answer dealt with on the basis of the real facts rather than hypothetically
