Senator COTTON - In Melbourne yesterday I was told that a request had come from Western Australia to the Department of Civil Aviation asking for the Concorde to visit that State on its visit to Australia. I said then that I was sure that this would not be possible because the plan that we approved was one submitted by the British Government and the British Aircraft Corporation and it involved only the visits that have been mentioned before; there was no contemplation of going to Western Australia. I undertook yesterday to find out more from Western Australia and from the company concerned, but I could not be any more helpful than that at the present time.
