Senator McMANUS (Victoria) - The Democratic Labor Party has considered this matter. We had determined that we would vote for the proposition as put forward by the Government. We felt that there was a necessity for extra time and we would prefer it to be available at the beginning of the day rather than at ;.he end. However, we have no strong feelings about it. If the Government is prepared to consider Senator Willesee's plea, we will go along.

Debate (on motion by Senator DrakeBrockman) adjourned.
