Senator KEEFFE (QUEENSLAND) - Can the Minister representing the Minister for Customs and Excise inform the Parliament how much opium is officially produced in Australia? Can he also advise the Parliament of the name of the purchasing authority or authorities?

Senator COTTON - Inquiries will have to be made of the Department of Customs and Excise before I can satisfactorily provide the details required by the honourable senator.
