The TEMPORARY CHAIRMAN - (Senator Lawrie)- Order! Is it the wish of the Committee that the Bill be taken as a whole?


Senator Bishop - I wish to make a number of preliminary statements and to point out the position in relation to dealing with the Bill in Committee. It is an important Bill. It may take some time to deal with it in Committee because the Minister for Health (Senator Sir Kenneth Anderson) did not reply)-


The TEMPORARY CHAIRMAN -

Order! If the Committee will not take the Bill as a whole, I will have to go through it clause by clause.
