Senator Sir KENNETH ANDERSON (New South Wales) (Minister for Health) - by leave - I wish to inform the Senate - this statement was made in the other place by the Prime Minister - that Mr Garland, in addition to his duties as Minister for Supply, will assist the Treasurer (Mr Snedden). I also wish to inform the Senate that the Minister for Shipping and Transport (Mr Nixon) is to leave Australia tonight to have discussions and make inspections in the urban transport field in South Africa, the United Kingdom, the United States of America and Europe, and to attend the launching of the Australian National Line container ship 'Australian Explorer' in Germany. He is expected to return to Australia on 12 April. During his absence the Minister for the Interior (Mr Hunt) will act as Minister for Shipping and Transport.
