Senator CHATAWAY (Queensland) . - For the last eighteen months or iwo years, in Brisbane, there has been an agitation in regard to connecting the Stock Exchange, by pneumatic tube, with the telegraph office. At some time ot other this month tenders for carrying out the work are to close. The work has been delayed so long, and is so seriously necessary, that I fisk the Honorary Minister to┬╗ represent to the Department that a contract should be let at the earliest possible moment after the, tenders have been received.


Senator Findley - I have made a note of the suggestion.
