Senator FINDLEY (Victoria) (Honorary Minister) . - I understand that if the words be retained a length for a suit will be dutiable at 40 and 35 per cent., and that if the words be deleted small men will be able to buy in larger quantities piece goods, which are dutiable at 30 and 25 per cent.

Amend, By inserting in the item, . after the word "materials," the words "made or cut to length or made or ".
