Mr GROOM (Darling Downs) (Minister of Home Affairs) . - The land has been acquired, and the only question to be settled is as to the price to be paid for it. We are now awaiting the decision of the Defence Department with respect to the armament, and as soon as that has been communicated, the work will be proceeded with. Of course, the honorable member will recognise that the report of the Imperial Defence Committee relates to a large number of matters which call for serious consideration.
