Mr BROWN (Canobolas) .- If the motion be agreed to, it will prevent the House from proceeding any further with private member's' business. I have some little interest in this matter, because I have obtained permission to introduce a Bill to amend the Public Service Act in a somewhat important particular. I understand that members of the Opposition have some objection to my dealing with the sub- ject, and I should be very glad if the Government would take it in hand.

Question resolved in the affirmative.
