Mr CARPENTER (Fremantle) . - I do not intend to say anything in criticism of the action of the Government, but I should like to know whether the Minister of Trade and Customs has, had prepared an estimate of the increased or decreased revenue that will result from the proposed new duties?

Sir William Lyne - I have the whole of the particulars ready tomy hand, but do not propose to lay them before honorable members until we proceed with the motion.
