Mr GROOM (Darling Downs) (Minister of Home Affairs) .- The sum of £20.000 was fixed upon the advice of the Chief Engineers of the States, who had previously reported upon the proposed railway. That was the best advice that was available to us>, and I have no doubt that the sum provided for will prove sufficient.
