Mr SPEAKER - As the honorable and learned member for Corio has intimated that he opposes the motion, it must be set down for another day. Notice of the amendments which the honorable member proposes to move will, if handed in, appear on the business-paper.

Mr Tudor - Must I give notice of them now, or will it be enough to hand them to the Clerk?

Mr SPEAKER - The time for giving notices of motion in the ordinary way expired when I called on the business of the day.
