Mr SPEAKER - I was on the point of interfering when the honorable member for Parramatta rose. I 'had intended to point out that the extract that the honorable and learned member was reading was too long, and to ask him not to read any more than was absolutely necessary to indicate the nature of his question.

Mr CROUCH - I was about to ask the Prime Minister whether the statements quoted by me were correct. If they are incorrect, will the Prime Minister take into consideration the propriety of having prepared or compiled some history of the Federal movement, in order that States Ministers may not be so utterly unaware of what has taken place?
