Mr WILSON (Corangamite) - I take it that the definition of " trade mark " as prescribed in the Imperial Act will apply to this Bill ?

Mr Isaacs - No; that is statute law.

Mr Page - The honorable member is not a lawyer.

Mr WILSON - It is quite true that I am not a lawyer, but it is my duty to ascertain what the law means in this connexion. I am quite satisfied with the assurance of the Attorney-General that the definition of "trade mark" as prescribed in the Imperial Act will not apply to this Bill. I agree with the honorable member for Maranoa that it should do so, and I regret that he did not give his vote in accordance with his voice upon this matter.
