JOURNALS OF THE SENATE.
FRIDAY, 19th MAY, 1950.
No Quorum.—There not being twenty Senators present at the time fixed for the meeting of the Senate (half-past ten a.m.), the bells were again rung ; and the President (Senator the Honorable Gordon Brown) having again counted the Senate, and there not being a quorum present, at twenty-five minutes to eleven a.m., the President adjourned the Senate till Wednesday next at three p.m.
The following Senators were in attendance:—Senators Brown, Cooper, Gorton, Hannaford, Kendall, McCallum, McLeay, O’Sullivan, Piesse, A. J. M. Rankin, Robertson, Spicer, Spooner, Wedgwood, Wordsworth and Wright. .
