The Printing Committee have the honour to report that they have met in Conference with the Printing Committee of the House of Representatives. The Joint Committee, having considered the Petition and Papers presented to Parliament since the last meeting of the Committee, and other Papers, motions for the printing of which lapsed
with the Dissolution of the Fifteenth Parliament, recommend that the following be printed :— Bankruptcy Act—Twelfth Annual Report by Attorney-General, for year ended 31st July, 1940. Elections and Refcrendums—Statistical Returns in relation to the Senate Elections,

The Committee noted the printing by a private printing company of the Report of the Department of Civil Aviation for 1939-40, and resolved that Departmental reports should be printed only by the Government Printer, and that the Resolution be brought to the notice of the Government..
