5. S upply B il l (No. 4) 1919-20.—The Senate, according to Order, resolved itself into a Committee for the further consideration of the Bill.

The President resumed the Chair ; and Senator Shannon, from the Committee, reported accordingly. The Minister for Repatriation (Senator Milieu) moved—That the Report be adopted. Senator Thomas moved—That the Bill be recommitted for the reconsideration of Part 1, The Parliament. Debate ensued. Senator Guthrie moved an amendment, viz., that Item 108 be added to the portion of the Bill

recommitted for reconsideration. Question—That Item 108 be added to the portion of the Bill recommitted for reconsideration—put. Debate ensued. The Senate divided—

6. A djournment.—The Minister for Repatriation (Senator Millen) moved—That the Senate do now adjourn. Debate ensued. Question—put and passed.

The Senate adjourned at five p.m. till to-morrow at eleven a.m.
