1. M eeting of S enate.—The Senate met pursuant to adjournment.

2. PRAYERS.

3. N ext M eeting of Senate.—The Postmaster-General moved, That the Senate, at its rising, adjourn until Wednesday next, at half-past two p.m. Debate ensued. Question—put and passed.

4. A djournment.—The Senate adjourned at fifty-two minutes past two p.m. till Wednesday, 30th October, at half-past two p.m.

5. A ttendance.—Present, all the Members except Senators Lieut.-Col. Cameron, Clemons, Dawson, Ewing, Fraser, Major Gould, Harney, Matheson (on leave), Milieu, O’Connor, O'Keefe, Playford, Stewart, and Walker.
