3       Committees—Leave to meet during sittings

Committees were authorised to meet during the sittings of the Senate, as follows:

Education and Employment Legislation Committee—private meeting otherwise than in accordance with standing order 33(1) today, from 11.30 am, for the committee’s inquiry into the provisions of the Australian Education Amendment Bill 2017.

Environment and Communications Legislation Committee—public meeting on Thursday, 15 June 2017, from 6 pm, for the consideration of the 2017-18 Budget estimates.

Future of Public Interest Journalism—Select Committee—private meeting otherwise than in accordance with standing order 33(1) today, from 12.30 pm.

Intelligence and Security—Joint Statutory Committee—private briefings today, from 12.15 pm, and on Thursday, 15 June 2017, from 4 pm.

Law Enforcement—Joint Statutory Committee—public meetings today—
