DEATH OF SENATOR JUDITH ANNE ADAMS

The Leader of the Opposition in the Senate (Senator Abetz), by leave, moved—That the Senate records its deep regret at the death, on 31 March 2012, of Senator Judith Anne Adams, senator for Western Australia, places on record its appreciation of her long and meritorious public service and tenders its profound sympathy to her family in their bereavement.

The motion was supported and all senators present stood in silence—
