REPORT ON COMMITTEE ACTIVITIES

The committee undertook a review of the requirement placed on agencies to provide untrimmed copies of documents that form part of the Parliamentary Paper Series (PPS). As a result of that review the committee recommended to the Presiding Officers that the PPS distribution guidelines be amended to remove the requirement for author agencies to provide untrimmed parliamentary papers copies for the 2010 PPS and subsequent series. The Presiding Officers approved that recommendation. The PPS distribution guidelines will be amended effective from 1 January 2010.
