Notice of Motion: Senator Reid: To move on the next day of sitting-That the Senate-

(a) notes the figures released during the week commencing 8 February 1987 which show an increase in the number of unemployed people in Canberra;

(b) demands that the Labor Government change its misdirected priorities-namely its inability to provide the young people of Canberra with real employment opportunities and, in particular, its failure to provide adequate places at the Canberra College of Technical and Further Education Hospitality School; and

(c) calls upon the Government to immediately redress this situation.

Intention to withdraw: The Chairman of the Standing Committee on Regulations and Ordinances (Senator Cooney) gave notice of his intention, on the next day of sitting at giving of Notices, to withdraw Business of the Senate, Notices of Motion Nos 1 and 2 standing in his name for 3 sitting days hence, for the disallowance of the Nature Conservation (Amendment) Ordinance 1986 (as contained in Australian Capital Territory Ordinance No. 65 of 1986) and Public Service Board Determination No. 81 of 1986 (made on 23 October 1986 under section 82D of the Public Service Act 1922), respectively.
