Senator Siddons: To move on the next day of sitting-That leave be given to introduce a Bill for an Act relating to collective agreements regulating the terms and conditions of employment of employees of corporations and for other purposes.

Senator Macklin: To move on the next day of sitting-That the Senate, noting that the European continent contains the highest concentration of nuclear weapons and armed forces-

(a) welcomes the timely announcement in November 1986 by the Social Democratic Party of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Socialist Unity Party of the German Democratic Republic of their joint political initiative for the establishment of a 300 kilometre-wide corridor across Europe free of all types of nuclear weapons; and

(b) wholeheartedly supports their initiative and calls on the Australian Government to lend its weight in all appropriate international bodies to assist in having this important plan implemented.
