Senator Peter Rae moved an amendment, viz: Page 5, clause 9, paragraph (1) (f), lines 32 to 34, leave out the paragraph, insert the following paragraphs: ''(f) 2 members selected after consultation between the Minister or his representative and such organisations (other than the organisations referred to in paragraph ( fa)) that are representative of business as the Minister considers appropriate;

(fa) 1 member selected after consultation between the Minister or his representative and such organisations that are representative of small business as the Minister considers appropriate;''.

Debate ensued.

Question-That the words proposed to be left out be left out-put and negatived.

Amendment negatived accordingly.

Bill further debated and agreed to.

Bill to be reported without amendment.

The President resumed the Chair; and the Chairman of Committees (Senator Hamer) reported accordingly.

Senator Button moved-That the Report be adopted.

Debate ensued.
