Senator Haines moved an amendment, viz: Page 55, Schedule 1, after the amendment to the Wool Tax (Administration) Act 1964, add ''World

Heritage

Properties

Convention

Act 1983

Section 3, after sub-section (4), insert the following sub-section-

'(5) For the purposes of the application of this Act in relation to the Northern Territory-

(a) a reference in this Act to a State shall be read as including a reference to the Northern Territory;

(b) a reference in this Act to a Territory shall be read as not including a reference to the Northern Territory; and

(c) a reference in this Act to the Premier of a State shall be read as including a reference to the Chief Minister of the Northern Territory.' .''.
