NOTICES OF MOTION

Notices of Motion were given, as follows- The Leader of the Australian Democrats (Senator Chipp): That, on the next day of sitting, he would move-That the National Exhibition Centre Trust Ordinance 1982, as contained in Australian Capital Territory Ordinance No. 37 of 1982, and made under the Seat of Government (Administration) Act 1910, be disallowed.

Senator Foreman: That, on the next day of sitting, he would move-That the Senate - (a) congratulates the Australian Commonwealth Games team for its wonderful performance at the Commonwealth Games in Brisbane;

(b) recognises that the performance of the Australian team has done more to boost the spirits of all Australians in just 10 days than the Fraser Government' s economic policies have done in 7 years; and

(c) calls upon the Federal Government to allocate more money in real terms to sporting bodies in Australia, to enable the Australian team to perform equally as well at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

Senator Lewis: No. 1-That, three sitting days after today, he would move-That the Compensation (Commonwealth Government Employees) Regulations (Amendment), as contained in Statutory Rules 1982, No. 117 and made under the Compensation ( Commonwealth Government Employees) Act 1971, be disallowed.

No. 2-That, twelve sitting days after today, he would move-That the Conciliation and Arbitration Regulations (Amendment), as contained in Statutory Rules 1982, No. 108 and made under the Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1904, be disallowed.

No. 3-That, twelve sitting days after today, he would move-That regulation 48B of the Postal Services Regulations (Amendment), as contained in regulation 2 of Statutory Rules 1982, No. 147 and made under the Postal Services Act 1975, be disallowed.
