INCOME TAX ASSESSMENT AMENDMENT BILL (NO. 5) 1982

Senator Macklin, pursuant to Notice of Motion not objected to as a Formal Motion , moved-That leave be given to introduce a Bill for an Act to amend the Income Tax Assessment Act 1936 to allow deductions from assessable income in respect of election expenses incurred in elections for certain bodies.

Question-put and passed.

Senator Macklin, by leave, moved-That this Bill be now read a second time.
