Senator CORMANN (Western AustraliaMinister for Finance and Deputy Leader of the Government in the Senate) (11:58): No, I don't, and I don't accept the premise of the question. As I've indicated in answer to a series of previous questions, there has been wide-ranging support—in particular, in the context of the independent Ramsay review—for the approach that the government is taking and proposing to the parliament. It is extremely rare for reform proposals to have the unanimous support of everyone, but we believe that the government has got the balance right with the reforms that we're putting forward. We believe it is manifestly in the public interest to establish this one-stop-shop efficient complaints resolution process for consumers and small business.
