Senator CHERRY (6:28 PM) —I intend dividing on this question and I was proposing to do that at 7.30, when we return after the dinner break. Would the minister give me a little more information? In terms of the claim in the explanatory memorandum that reporting through pay slips is covered by provisions in Australian workplace legislation and also through state legislation, would she acknowledge that both of those reporting requirements have holes and that a significant part of the work force does not receive that information through pay slips?

Sitting suspended from 6.29 p.m. to 7.30 p.m.

The TEMPORARY CHAIRMAN (Senator Bolkus)—The question is that the Democrat amendment be agreed to.

Question agreed to.

Bill, as amended, agreed to.

Bill reported with amendments; report adopted.
