Ms JACKSON (6:53 PM) —I would like to thank the Darling Range RSL for their Remembrance Day service at the Darling Range War Memorial on Wednesday last week—and especially for the cuppa at the morning tea served afterwards. It was a warm day in Perth, but the service was still well attended. It was a very moving service and there were many veterans in attendance. I would particularly like to record my thanks to the president, Fred, and secretary, Ray, for their work on behalf of veterans in the local veteran community. I thank them for the opportunity to pay due and proper tribute to our lost service men and women. I also acknowledge the Gosnells RSL sub-branch and thank them for the use of their hall for an Australian defence medal presentation on 4 November.
