To the Speaker and Honourable Members of the House of Representatives of the Australian Parliament assembled. The petition of the undersigned residents of Australia respectfully showeth:
We the undersigned residents of Australia totally reject any move to cut funding to Australia-wide English as a Second Language program in schools.
We request that the Australian government restore funding to the 1985 level in the 1986/87 budget.
