Mr SCHOLES (Minister for Defence) —I second the motion. On behalf of the Government and, I think, all Australians, I also express the deepest sympathy for the loss of life. There are risks involved in being in the Services, but, in peacetime, it is a tragic occasion when people lose their lives in such circumstances.

Question resolved in the affirmative, honourable members standing in their places.
