To the Honourable the Speaker and Members of the House of Representatives of the Federal Parliament assembled. The humble petition of the undersigned citizens of Australia, New South Wales respectfully showeth:

That we the undersigned have great concern because of the Bill that is before the Parliament of our great nation. Your petitioners therefore humbly pray that your Honourable House protect the rights of all citizens of our country by rejecting the United Nations Convention for Discrimination. We believe that the implications of such a Bill will have harmful effects upon the heart of society, that is the family.

And your petitioners as in duty bound will ever pray.
