Mr SHIPTON(6.42) —I identify with and support the comments of the honourable member for Balaclava (Mr Macphee), the shadow Minister for employment and industrial relations, and the honourable member for Mitchell (Mr Cadman), who has just spoken. I particularly point out to the House and to the nation the problem that self-employed truck drivers and their sub-contractors face in this area and that is that coercion by unions is still going on. That is a sad state of affairs in this nation. The self-employed truck drivers, owners and contractors should not be coerced. The comments of the honourable member for Mitchell about Razorback are real. I invite the Government to take notice of his comments. I support the amendment moved by my colleague, the honourable member for Balaclava.
