Mr HODGMAN —I give notice that, on the next day of sitting, I shall move, and the honourable member for Cook (Mr Dobie) will second:

That this House-

(1) reminds the Government that 81 per cent of Australians believe in God, and that-

(a) the Government is not above God and the Queen, and

(b) the proposal to drop God and the Queen from the Oath of Allegiance is strongly opposed by the overwhelming majority of Australians, the churches, and community organisations, and

(2) calls upon the Government to forthwith abandon its atheist-republican plans to totally destroy the Oath of Allegiance.
