(1) congratulates the Queensland Government on its action on the Commonwealth wage pause program whereby it has provided more unemployed Queenslanders with jobs than any other State;

(2) notes that the Queensland Government has spent 45 per cent of its Commonwealth allocation, and created work for 2,743 unemployed Queenslanders whereas Victoria has spent only 2.6 per cent of its allocation and created only 874 jobs; and

(3) condemns Government Ministers and the Queensland Branch of the Australian Labor Party for perpetuating deliberate untruths to the people of Queensland in regard to the State's spending of moneys received under the Commonwealth wage pause program.
