Mr CADMAN —I give notice that, on the next day of sitting, I shall move:

That this House-

(1) notes the commitments made by the Prime Minister in the Australian Labor Party federal election speech regarding tax deductions, pensioners' cheques, increasing the real value of the pay packet, increases in the spouse rebate, a reduction of 3 cents per litre for petrol and a promise not to break promises;

(2) regards the Prime Minister's rejection of these promises as complete cynicism; and

(3) calls on the Prime Minister to re-read history to appreciate that it was the children of Israel who could not keep their commitments.
