To the Honourable the Speaker and Members of the House of Representatives in Parliament assembled.

We the undersigned citizens of Australia, believing that men and women are equal but different, convinced that Australia can provide equal opportunity for all citizens without foreign treaties, concerned that ratifying the UN Discrimination Convention would give a Communist-dominated international committee the power to judge Australia's laws, humbly petition that your honourable House will not ratify the UN Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women and we will always thus petition.
